I am an Assistant Professor in Physics in the Department of Physical and Natural Sciences at FLAME University in Pune in India. I did my doctoral study at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany, and post-doctoral research in Germany, Puerto Rico, USA and Israel. I use physical and mathematical techniques -- primarily analytical with support from numerical simulations -- in service of understanding complex chemical and biological systems such as colloidal suspensions, collections of swimming micro-organisms, and interacting species in ecosystems.
